Knit Leggings Rust
Knit Leggings Rust
Our beautifully soft 100% merino wool leggings are a rib knit, which combined with wool's natural elasticity ensures they stay up, stay on, don't sag and retain their shape year after year, wear after wear.
To get the most wear, we recommend you buy them up a size and just roll the cuffs up until those little legs have grown enough to roll them down. They are warm enough to wear alone and low profile enough to wear as a layer under other pants.
Features:
- Rib knit for stretch & growth
- Temperature regulating
- Anti odor and breathable
- Easy care and quick drying
- Okeo-Tex100 free from harmful chemicals
Composition: 100% RWS merino wool, chlorine and mulesing free
Designed to allow for growth with plenty of stretch and roll up cuffs.

Thick and soft! Very happy with these.
These leggings are long which means we were able to use them for a long time, you can easily fold the legs. They seem to be warm, provide enough room on the waist even for a chunky baby, and work great as a single layer on those cooler evenings/mornings.
These are much thicker than other NUI leggings I've purchased before...and I'm glad for it! These are thick yet flexible for movement, so they will be just great for any sort of everyday activity. With the thicker weave, I can see these leggings lasting a lot longer than the thinner NUI leggings we are used to. I hope these remain a staple on the website because I'd definitely purchase them every year!
I have been buying these leggings in multiple colors each year for my now-three-year-old and we love them so much. I haven't found wool leggings anywhere else that I like nearly as much. These are a nice thickness to really keep the child warm and because of this they can be worn with or without additional layers, depending on weather, of course. The ribbing gives a nice stretch and they return well to their shape even without washing. Of course, they are also easy to wash, which is key. The only downside is they usually sell out quickly and don't seem to be available most of the year. We love them with the matching tops.
Definitely no need to size up with these! I bought both 12-18 and 6-12 for my now 11-month-old, who's bigger/taller than average, and I find even the smaller size can work its way down over her feet. They'll last a while, which is great, as they're soft and good for daytime and nighttime
