I love the stripes on this and also purchased the matching bottoms. I'd say that this top runs on the slightly larger side; I ordered a M and should have ordered S (I am often a M across brands). I wish the shoulders were a raglan cut so that they would fit better, as these are too wide for me; note that I do have narrow shoulders. By the end of the day--and certainly if you are wearing this for multiple days--the shirt stretches out too much and doesn't hug my body at all. The most disappointing aspect, however, is that the v-neck portion rolls, rather than staying nice looking. This is a design flaw and ought to be remedied. On the positive side, the material is lovely and again, I love the stripes!
This shirt is the perfect weight for changing weather conditions. Great at keeping me covered in the sun and excellent at adding an extra layer of warmth in cooler weather. One day my daughter was chilly for a hike, borrowed my shirt and didn’t complain the rest of the trip!
Nui's wool is utterly delicious! I have 2 of these shirts that I go to most days either as a base layer or just a shirt. The medium fits more like a small to me. For reference, I'm a slender 5'9 and the medium fits comfortably - close to the body but not tight (just as a base layer should). The thermal layers do stretch with wear, but never too much that it becomes uncomfortable. The next wash tightens the fibers again.
I own A LOT of wool tshirts from many different companies. There is something really different about the fabric and color. I really enjoy wearing it as either a base layer, under a shirt for warmth or alone in warmer weather. Really nice shirt!
I purchased both the top and pants and I use them as pajamas, I take very much care of these I wash them in mesh bags because I sincerely do not want to sleep in anything else; They are very comfortable they keep me warm and my skin which tends to be sensitive loves this. I plan to get more! highly recommend!
