I've got the 6-12 and 12-18 sizes for my 11-month-old and find they're pretty true to size! Long so I do need to cuff the bigger ones a bit, but I appreciate how fitted they are, at least right now. That may change as she starts walking and thins out a bit! They are starting to get tiny holes in the knees, but that's not unexpected from what I've read in other reviews and ob the description. They are really soft and smooth, and we'll wear them out!
I bought size 12-18 months for my now 16 month old- he’s been wearing these leggings since the beginning of summer. First, I love the color. Second, these will fit him past 18 months- they were initially fairly loose around his waistline but he’s filled them out in the last couple of months. They are not as snug fitting around the legs as shown in the picture, but are actually quite baggy, which I prefer for the hot and humid weather. Third, the material is very soft, light weight, breathable, stretchy, easy to hand wash, and quick drying; however, the knee areas of both pant legs started to thin out and eventually just tore (my son has only worn these as a walker, not a crawler and for only a few months)- the reason for 4 stars. I contacted customer service and they addressed the issue satisfactorily. Fourth, they are quite see through when stretched. Finally, the material will snag if presented in a snagging type of situation (i.e. velcro- I have a love hate relationship with velcro, outdoor play). This has not stopped me from purchasing his next size up. Merino Tencel is great for our hot and humid weather- it’s the only material he’s been wearing this summer. For reference, he’s 31 inches tall, 22 pounds, and has a nice little Buddha belly on him.
These are so soft and functional! My little guy is 8 months and is 20 pounds. We got the 12-18 months so we could use them longer. They are big on him, but we just rolled the sleeves and pulled the pants up high and they worked great for a hike with temperature changes!

These are great for all seasons, currently using as a sun shirt but will use as a baselayer in the winter. Very nice material and fit.
