The sleeves are already designed to be a bit longer, but you can size up for growth and roll up.

the best for layering

It's soft on the skin, warm but not bulky and it's easy to wash! Perfect for cold weather layering or wear by itself.

Warm, soft and wonderful!

This is a beloved item by my five-year-old. It’s warm enough for the cold days but also very breathable and comfort for him to play around outdoors. The top lake color is nice and beautiful to brighten long winters :)

So warm and cozy for winter adventures

I love dressing my babe up in his Nui wool knots when we take our oldest out for forest school or other outdoor adventures. I usually layer up with a merino silk baselayer, these knits (top and leggings), then a tuffo or Oaki waterproof layer since he’s crawling/walking all over the snow and mud. On snowy days I also add a wool fleece jacket over top of the knit top. He’s a large 9 months old and the 12-18 month size fits with just a little room to grow in the sleeves for the rest of winter.

Wear after wear, year after year these stand the test of time!

I first started buying Hopu tops when my son was 4 and attended forest school. A Nui base layer and a Hopu top kept him warm and dry all day during autumn and winter. Now 7, I'm still buying Hopu tops for him to wear all fall and winter long. He can usually wear a sweater for two seasons which makes them a great buy. They wear like iron, the wool is soft, durable and the sweaters maintain their shape wear after wear!

Ultimate, absolute best sweater ever!

I have purchased this top over and over in multiple sizes and colors for our now almost three year old as well as for gifts for friends. This piece is incredible. So soft but sturdy to handle all toddler wear and tear. And always offered in beautiful gem-like colors that you never tire of. The ribbing and great long narrow fit allow you to use this piece for multiple seasons. When it is on the bigger side, it drapes nicely and is never too baggy or bulky. Also the sleeves are long and the cuffs turn up nicely to that you can manage the length but the sleeve stays narrow and close to the arm and wrist because of the ribbing so it doesn't drag through things. The sweater always looks like it fits. Also, because of the way the material expands, it somehow allows you to put multiple layers under it. As our child grows, this sweater still always looks like it fits because of the generous sleeve length and the ribbing that expands. The non-bulky fit and smooth material make it go comfortably under a variety of hoodies and jackets and make the challenge of getting all of the layers smooth under the jacket sleeve easier than normal. Just an amazingly designed piece!
