I bought size 12-18 months for my now 16 month old- he’s been wearing this shirt since the beginning of summer. First, I love the color combination of Mallard and Navy. Second, this top will fit him for longer than 18 months- it’s not snug fitting like it is in the picture, it’s pretty loose which is nice for the hot and humid weather, and I also roll his sleeves; however, the torso length is on the shorter side so if you want to tuck the shirt in, it may not stay put for very long. Third, the material is very soft, light weight, breathable, stretchy, easy to hand wash, and quick drying. Fourth, the snaps are nice and hardy. Finally, the material will snag if presented in a snagging type of situation (i.e. velcro- I have a love hate relationship with velcro, outdoor play). As sad as I am when I see a snag, I’ve come to accept that it’s going to happen. This has not stopped me from purchasing his next size up. Merino Tencel is great for our hot and humid weather- it’s the only material he’s been wearing this summer. For reference, he’s 31 inches tall, 22 pounds, and has a nice little Buddha belly on him.
Love this too. We also have the pants. He wore the 3-6 into month 9. It’s the perfect size. Wasn’t too big at 3 months and somehow fit in month 8. Color is gorgeous too. So soft and thin but warm and cool. Perfect material. We love it!
These are so soft and functional! My little guy is 8 months and is 20 pounds. We got the 12-18 months so we could use them longer. They are big on him, but we just rolled the sleeves and pulled the pants up high and they worked great for a hike with temperature changes!
Another great fabric and product from Nui! Silky soft feel, thin to wear alone or layered. We anticipate getting a lot of use because, as always, sizing is great; it fits when it arrives and last a very long time as the kiddies grow. We have one in every color, 18-24 months size for an 18 mo (approx 25 lbs). We easily roll up, the arms (just a little long) and there is room all over to grow, but does not currently look or fit too big.
