Love the color and material. Great as an under layer for the winter and anticipate it to be a great shirt alone for the summer time. Daughter is a little small for her age so gets lots of use while wearing a little large until she grows.
We love how well the T-shirt’s fit our gal! Plus the material is so breathable and comfortable. A great company I always feel great about supporting 😀.
I bought size 12-18 months for my now 16 month old- he’s been wearing this tee since the beginning of summer. First, I love the color. Second, it’s a nice loose fit which is great for the hot and humid weather. The snaps are nice and hardy (it was pretty difficult for me to get them unsnapped the first few times). Third, the material is very soft, light weight, breathable, stretchy, easy to hand wash, and quick drying. Finally, the material will snag if presented in a snagging type of situation (i.e. velcro- I have a love hate relationship with velcro, outdoor play). This has not stopped me from purchasing his next size up. Merino Tencel is great for our hot and humid weather- it’s the only material he’s been wearing this summer. For reference, he’s 31 inches tall, 22 pounds, and has a nice little Buddha belly on him.
I try to keep my kids with as close to a capsule wardrobe as possible to reduce our consumption and my own time shuffling clothes around. I love Nui clothes because of how far I can stretch a size to fit a broad range of ages. These shirts are no different! I have most of the colors in 2Y for my son at this point (22 months) and have definitely thrown them on my 3 month old (granted, he is big for his age!) in a pinch! They will go right from summer into fall/winter under our Hopu sweaters!
