Stay warm and cocooned in the sublime softness of an organic merino wool Balaclava.
The Balaclava keeps head, neck and ears covered and is long enough to tuck into the top of a sweater or jacket, sitting just on the shoulders. The merino rib is light and soft with plenty of stretch. Because it's low profile you can still also fit a hat or hood over the top when heading out into wild weather.
- Anti odor
- Temperature regulating
- Stay-on rib knit structure
- GOTS certified organic merino

I bought this again last year for my three year old and I have to say that they are perfect for a VERY active child in the winter! I love that it covers her head and neck and provides enough warmth without being bulky. We have two others that have been passed down to her brother. These will continue to be a staple in our winter wardrobe, for sure!
My 5 year old has lived in this balaclava the last two winters. On more mild days he wears it by itself, and on super cold days he wears it under a hat. I love that it gives a little bit of warmth around his neck and keeps his ears extra toasty in the wind. The best part is that he can just pop it off his head and wear it around his neck, so I don't have to worry about him losing it!
I have two little ones I purchased these for 12 month old (size: 12-24 m) and 3.5 year old (size: 2/4y). They are perfect! We use them 1) as a layer under their hats to keep their neck and face warm 2) as a stand-in for a hat under their hoods or on warmer days 3) a complete hat replacement. My youngest has a tendency to rip hats off or they fall off, but she doesn't seem to mind wearing this at all and I feel good knowing her head is staying warm. I love all the cool properties of the natural wool material too.
My 1 year old wears this every day that the weather dips. It it easy to put on, super soft, covers his head, ears, and neck. He doesn't pull at it like hats and beanies. It stays clean (I don't think I've washed it once...).
We received a balaclava just in time for the cold weather. It is a beautiful, finely knit piece that we will layer a hat or hood on top of for the coldest weather but which stand alone on milder chilly days. My son, who is generally not a fan of wool (he's very particular about how his clothes feel) put it on right away and went off to school wearing it. Well done, Nui!
