This beanie is incredibly soft, and fits nicely, however they run a little big. I am usually medium/large for head accessories (i.e. helmets, sunglasses) and I still found these beanies a little loose. I bought two of these in different colors, and for some reason one of them seemed to ran (even) bigger than the other. I wished the fit was a little less loose but in general I liked these a lot, the help me endure -26C temperatures (I am definitely not use to that kind of cold), and even covered my ears nicely.

Love this hat. Wear it almost every day. It is soft and so warm, stretches well but retains its shape. And it's not itchy on my forehead!

I have both the Dory and Potae Beanie. The Dory is a bit thicker and heavier than the Potae which makes for a nice colder weather hat; however, the “One Size” fit a bit looser than I like for the winter and if you wear the hat where the cuff line is, there’s a bit of extra material that is not snug to the top of the head. It was still too loose even after rolling it past the cuff line so I ended up giving it to my husband that has a bigger noggin than me (my head circumference is approx. 21” and his is approx. 23”). He also likes it more snug so once he rolled it up, the fit was better for him. I discovered that my head fits pretty well in the largest child size. Even though this beanie style was not for me, I still gave it 5 stars because it’s warm without the bulk, soft and comfy, durable, looks great (I love the navy color), and superb quality (like all Nui products).

Soft and warm as always but docking one star because for me it was a little tight. I like a larger, looser fit and this fit my child better than me.

I’ve purchased this hat twice for my daughter, and was excited to see it in women’s size. I got one for myself in brownish, and it’s the perfect beanie. Lots of hats are blended with synthetic fibers these days, so it’s great to find a 100% merino alternative.
