Earth Day is held on April 22 every year since 1970 and is considered the birth of the modern environmental movement. Today, Earth Day is celebrated by over a billion people every year - the largest secular observance in the world - and a day of action that changes human behavior and provokes policy changes.
It is a call to action spearheaded by the Earth Day Network, whose mission is to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide.
So what can YOU do? Even the smallest actions reduce your Environmental Footprint. REDUCE your disposable plastic use. PLANT a tree. RECYCLE as much as you can. Eat LESS meat. Shop ORGANIC where possible. Say NO to disposable fashion and packaging.
